Central Monitoring System
NMC has initiated the Central Monitoring System for Waters Supply & Distribution system for Nagpur City at NMC administrative head office at civil lines, Nagpur. NMC manages to supply 470 MLD water to Nagpur city and at the end of Pench IV, the total water supply to the city of Nagpur would be 593 MLD. Central Monitoring System shall work on 24 x 7 basis. NMC can monitor, record, check the inefficiencies of water supply & distribution system, arrest the losses and thus equitable distribution can be possible with enhanced satisfactory services to the customers. VHF radio telemetry system is proposed for the above system.
